Speedo Drive ??? Does anybody have a spare speedo drive they'd like to sell me as the one on my wifes 748 has failed? Thanks in advance. |
lol, mine snapped on Sunday as well, when you fit the new one ensure that the connector at the front wheel hasn't spun on the spindle .. thats what did for mine ...... |
also they are only about £15 new from a dealer ... |
Didn't relize they were that cheap will go up to riders at lunch time then. Cheers DIBBLE |
Yes, I've got one for a 748 that I bought from eBay in the mistaken belief that something like that would be a generic part and would fit my ST. It doesn't, it's too short. It cost me a fiver plus postage. You can have it for the same |
Jools, if Braai Boy doesnt see your post and goes and buys one I'll have that off you mate ...... obvioulsy you have 1st shout Braai as technically I am hijacking your thread ... |
Hmmm, i broke mine and was told that they are all the same part number. It was £12.95 for a used one inc postage. It broke becasue i over tightened the wheel nut. Just checked the parts lists and they show several different part numbers for the various bikes drives. [Edited on 11-7-2005 by rockhopper] |
Jools you have u2u.:sing: |
Two widths I believe 35mm and 30mm |
Jools thanks for your prompt delivery but it's not the cable I need it's the actual unit that connects to the front wheel. I will how ever keep the cable as a spare. Thanks again. |
