strong wrist!!! I have just changed me oil/filter at 1000 miles as i always do. Old habits die hard, getting the filter off is the usual right wrist acher my belt tool is a crap purchase and the chain wont fit in what size cannister thingmy do i need as me right wrist aint wat it used to be ...wink wink!:D |
see your local snap on man, blue point canister tool, part number 76-8 fits ducati filters. costs about £12.00 +v.a.t . you can even torque the new filter up with it. theres some monkey on ebay selling the same design tool with a starting bid of £49.95 |
I use a Halfords "steel band" (not the calypso :o ) type tool on my 748 no probs. They're 12, 14 quid, summat like that. The chain and belt types are rubbish IMO. |
Wack a screw driver through :P |
The Ducati oil filter tool is about a tenner at your local dealer |

Stilsons do the trick |
K+N oil filters have a built-in nut at the end so a torque wrench can be used if needed! Frank |
