2005, a totally pants year so far or what!!!

Has anyone else on the board had a totally pants year so far.
It seems that since early jan this year, it's been a downward spiral of problems, one after another for me.
The previous few years were really good, but now it seems someone upstairs is making up for lost time:(:(:(.
I'm Getting stuck in a rut now, and need a boost to get out of it.

Am I alone, or is this just a naff year :puzzled::puzzled:

Any nice and peacefull rural retreats around .

PS web team, I still can't get into my U2U to read my messages, when I do, I cant see any messages.
HELP, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:mad::mad:

I need a nurofen or 10 now I think.

Hi Robin,

Like many I dare say, at 46 I have been through the mill - marriages, divorces, kids, no kids, the whole bifta.

Believe in yourself, know what you can change & dont beat yourself up over things that are beyond your control.

Make your mind the nice peacful rural retreat you are looking for. Like Rob said - you can turn it around.

Take care

Its had its moments for me.
Been Car Jacked.
3 Points for speeding.
Bank account fraudulently emptied
Knocked off my bike.
Ex Employer trying to take me to court.
And the Summer hols seems to have stopped people buying cars off me.
Other than that its all Tickerty Boo.

I have had few on the trot, first my younger brother dropped dead, then just as we had come to terms with that my mother also dropped dead, they both had heart attacks. You hear so many people tell you various things to try and cheer you up but twice whilst I was really pi88ed off at my misfortune I heard other peoples tales of woe and thought to myself well I could be worse off. I made some changes to my work life balance and started doing a few of the things that make life worth living for like getting out more with friends and family, changed my bike to a Ducati, just loads of things. Everyone is different we all respond to different things but most people forget about the crap thats happeneing to them by getting out and doing the things they really enjoy. So keep your pecker up and go for a spin.:burn:

Robin,
Keep your head up mate and smile. Had a **** couple of years meself and all the messages of good will and just the little cheer up comments from DSC geezers makes me smile - even the sarky ones from jpm.

I know it sounds glib but there is always someone worse off than you. Count your blessings - that's what my dad taught me. Kerry, nice to see you getting into the club spirit. And what does 'YMFB' stand for YMFB?

:bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

I've had a couple of really ***** years and this year has been an improvement, although not all rosey by a long chalk. We are only sent the things to deal with that we can deal with ... again, maybe a cliche but I believe you find your strength in adversity.

Or a bottle of wine - wha'ever :devil::devil:

It's nice to know that it's not just me.
