Will ST wheels fit a 900ss? Does anyone know if these wheels will fit a 1999 900ss? Thanks, Mike http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3008931845... 4.m1438.l2649 |
Rear Spindle size is different 17mm on the 900SS 25mm on the ST |
Thank you very much .. super fast advice! |
I've been working on Monsters and Supersports most of the weekend the later Monsters such as the 620, 800 and 1000 share the same 25mm rear spindle as the STs but the 620 and 800 use a 4.5" Rim width |
Here is one that apparently that has been modified, but the bearings will soon collapse without a centre spacer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-ST2...em3a80b f8da9 |
ST2 Rear Wheel Hi Guys, thats my ST2 wheel for sale on evil bay. I bought it for my '94 900ss, it fitted but the chain was out of alignment and the pads dragged on the disc as if not in line. I bought the correct 900ss whel and it is all fine. This wheel would fit better with a bit of machining. Bob |
Talking to my mate Mickb earlier tonight he has a 900SS rear wheel complete with disc and sprocket carrier that he no longer needs. he's registered on the forum so he may be along in a while with an advert for it |
Large axle fronts wheels can be modded quite easily using stock ducati parts, i have a wide axle Marchi sleved down on my 900ss. Rears however, just as in women are a completely different issue :o |
