Ducati assist. What a pile of **** that is then.
Buggsy called them out from Popham an hour later a man with a van arrives ( a van that has no room for a bike ) and offers to bung up the radiator hole with some gum. After pointing out we'd have to stip the bike to get water into it + there is no way to trust the bodge fix especialy in the wet leaking rad coolant. The call center based in Leon France then said they would arrange for the bike to be taken to the nearest dealer which they said was Reading and from there he would get a taxi back to Oxford. WTF Snells or Moto Rapido is nearer and all of them are closed on a Sunday and it is a shorter journey to get him back to Oxford. After she sopoke to her supervisor ( Who by the way was not available on a Sunday for Bugsy to speak to ) they would not recover him home. T00sers.
Well done Senna coming to the rescue. You would'nt have put me out at all Bugsy using my van.

WHAT, that's crazy, contact Ducati UK and complain mate :(

On a brighter note, great to see everyone out and about :)

bradders 12-May-2013 21:14

Pmsl yeah saw the 'prestige patrol' arriving and though erer never gonna work.

Defo send a letter of complaint, and copy AA as they provide the UK service

Thats sounds like a poor service, not the same level of service Buggsy received last time he had a radiator problem at Popham

Good to see everyone today, I nearly didn't make it due to being a bit off colour the last few days. But a spirited ride down with mates that got the adrenalin flowing (or in Corys case filling his pants  ) especially the big slide from all the loose gravel in the middle of a bend. Felt a lot better after a day out on the bike. Not sure Paul did as he tried without success to avoid a low flying bird, still no damage done, well not visible. then to cap off the journey down Buggsy's 848 EVO sprang a leak.

Shame we couldn't stay longer but the guys wanted to get back before the rain hit, it was the right call as we nearly made it the rain caught up with us about 5 miles from home.

Looked like a good turn out with all the regulars and a few less regulars and good to see Simon away from the race track and making his first visit to Popham on his 996
