clunky clack clack neutral ?

Just movin the bike round the garage in neutral and noticed the bike makin a slight clunkety clank noise seemingly from clutch/gearbox area.

not noticed it before and am off on me euro jaunt and its given me the DPS (ducati paranoya syndrome) ;)

Did my bike do it before, has it been the 2 missed gears at the weekend where my bike was inbetween gears then cracked one in?

Pensively yours,
Fab

chain and front sprocket. I would get a pair of vernier callipers to measure your rear wheel adjusters, make sure you have adjusted the rear wheel square when doing the chain.

as in the chain needs re adjusting?
to be honest ive not adjusted it in the 1200 miles its run in my possesion as the tension seems fine.

Cheers

just a suggestion really. Im not saying the chain neds adjusting, as in tightening up. Im saying adjusting as in making sure its running true, in a straight line.

Sounds like the bike is 'not quite' in neutral.
If you are missing gears,it could be the linkage needs adjusting.Check the bolt in the adjusting rod.
