Blown bulbs. Hi guys, iv fitted a full leo vince 57mm system to my 749r and mounted the rear light as per the instructions but all that keeps happening is stop/tail and indicator bulbs just blow within a few miles, iv removed the light and inserted a strip of rubber between the light body and where it is bolted but no joy still blowing, has anyone else had this problem after fitting exhaust systems? Any simple cure would be much apprecaited. |
get s stick on wheel wieght (a small one)and place on the silver part of the light lens/unit-- this appaerently changes the resonance/vibration frequency thingy's and may stop the bulb blowing--- never tried it meself but never had the problem |
Ive had the same problem on mine, for some reason only the offside indicator blows along with the stp/tail bulb. I have mounted the light support bracket using 3 of the smaller wellnuts (only just nip the bolts up and then tighten a nylok nut on) this leaves the light unit quite flexibly mounted, job done.
