Fork protectors, swingarm protectors

I don't need an Ohlins shock absorber, I don't need a radial brake master cylinder, I don't need a brand new fairing, I don't need a steering damper, I don't need a race fuel cap, etc, etc... But I definitely need more protectors

As Domski said, I should have received a bodywork voucher :D

So what protectors are you using for your fork and your swingarm and where did you buy them? Do I need to drill the swingarm to fit the small protectors which are also used by the rear paddock stand (and which seems to be very usefull).

Thanks by advance for your answers.

I use R&G bungs on the frame and forks. They saved my clutch lever and a few other bits and pieces after I was 'Butchered' on the start line in Race 1, Round 1, Series 1 !!!! :D

God that makes me laugh!! Chris you knobhead!

I don't have any other bungs or protectors on the bike so I can't comment on them.

R & G on the front forks - one got completely mullered last night, but did save more damage being done.....:o

I make my own, if you're running standard 996 type front axle, U2U me and I'll send you a set.

Hi Yeti,

I have no idea. I don't know anything about Ducati D4 (never tried one...) and even less about their forks. Could anyone here answer for me? :puzzled:

Cheers,
Tonio.

Yeah mr P, you won't find it so funny when the bill for 50 gallons of muckoff lands on your mat!

Tonio, I don't know about your bike but my monster runs a different spindle than a 996. Unless yeti sorts you out, I can reccomment rhe R&G fork protectors too.

I'll try to find a picture of mine...
I think the guy @ ProTwins told me it was the same axle than an ST... So it's no good?

Tonio600 23-Aug-2005 15:19

Found one. What about that?
