Paypal limit - how does that work? Bought a few things via paypal on E-bay over recent months but appear to have run out of credit limit even though the credit card used has zero on it?? Is the paypal credit limit cumulative i.e. once I have spent my limit of $750 over however long the only way to "refresh" the limit is to link the account to a bank account?? Being an OOP North techophobe just a bit wary about linking the paypal account to a bank account to get verified whatever that is. Ray. PS (Lord R you know how Sniffy Coutts are about anything to do with the internerd) |
Paypal adds up your total spending, once you reach your limit that's it. You will have to get 'verified' to continue using paypal or wait for Rob748b to come along and tell you how to set up a new account, I tried setting up a new account but it wasn't having any of it:mad: |
linking to a bank account means you can take out any money paid to you quickly and easily. I've got a verified account, and had it for a couple of years without issues. They're regulated by the FSA, so I wouldn't worry about them abusing the information. |
:saint:Yeah,get verified,piece of **** to do,about a week and it's activated.When signing up,make sure the phone you're using is next to the computer!You'll understand why if it's not! |
My problem is that when i reached the limit they asked me for the code on my credit card statement against my very first invoice from paypal. Well that was over three years ago and its the only credit card statement i cant find!! |
