Will the span adjustable levers from 748/9.. fit an 888 ?

Yep. The early ones will fit. up to '98 I think

Depending on the master cyls you have, you may need to file a little bit off the "ears" on the master cyl for clearance..... I did when I put them on my ST2... try this link - it explains it a little better than I have I think....
