Billet Aluminium Custom Engineering

I am after a few bits of machined billet aluminium for a project to form four tubular spacers. They are to move passenger footpegs clear of a high mounted exhaust system. Does anyone know any firms willing to do this sort of thing in such a small quantity?

Are you in Whiteley Hampshire?
I had some ally machined not too long ago by a company in Havant... I provided a 3D cad drawing which they just fed into their cnc machine and pressed go.
4 fairly big brackets cost me £60.

Hugh Watson is the guys name: hughw@innovadesign.co.uk http://www.innovadesign.co.uk

If you need cad drawings done just give me some dimensions and I'll do it one evening.

There is a guy on Ebay that makes crash mushrooms and the like seems to be able to make things to spec - might be worth dropping him a line:

here is one of his ads...

Ohhhh...he has his own website now:

Contact him direct then :)

Also Jim, if you are in Whitely, come up the M27 towards So'ton. Come off at the Hedge End junction. 1st exit, up towards the roundabout with all the big aerials on. At the roundabout go 1st exit down a little crappy road (not left towards Bursledon/Windhover roundabout, just before that) into a small industrial estate. There's a chap down there called AB Light Engineering. He is absolutely the best, 'old school' type engineering, loves his old bikes/cars etc. Workmanship second to none, everything done 'for cash.' I've used him for all sorts of one off brackets etc. and my mates do too, plus mates with Caterham's etc. I don't have his number but look in the Yellow pages or try 118.
Cheers!
