888 chip
 

On an early thread I had trouble with a chip supplied by ProVtwins, anyway I took the bike upto them and they fitted a new chip which also failed to work on checking the computer it appears to have a P7 unit not the P8 all stradas are supposed to have.
All I can assume is it had a failure at some stage and all they had arround was an early unit.
So if anyone has a P8 kicking about their garage(Hens teeth and all that) and where not talking lottery funding let me know.

The early 888's Stradas in '93 (like mine) have the P7 computer. The P8 will apparently improve fueling but they seem to be scarce and fetch top dollar. You might be better off getting hold of an alternative P7 chip.
