well

after 1 week and about 500 miles i can say that i am so glad i didnt listen to the doubters when i said i was getting a ducati.
dont do it still ringing in the ears.
anyway what a fantastic bike it is, a bit slower but how often do you go over 150 anyway hahaha
ride is unbelievable so much smoother than the gsxr, and the bike is so thin.
bike has carbon termis and ecu but is otherwise standard. looking for crash bungs also. What other useful mods are there worth doing. not really interested in carbon fairings yet but am looking at huggers, any recommendations
cheers
steve

The latest Brembo 4 pad calipers are well worth getting if you don't have them already.

Mods... how much do you want to spend :D

Do you want bling or performance?

steve - if you're getting any bolt on bits (specially hugger) it may be worth just getting the part fitted by the dealer.
Huggers can be fiddly to fit at times so if the dealer breaks or damages at least you should get it replaced no questions.

My first wedge would go on getting the suspension set up for you personally, whether it be the standard set up or thats not good enough, or you are very light/heavier than average getting it resprung and valved.

Starting point would be get ride height, sag then damping settings sorted, although by the sounds of it you're pretty happy anyway.

Good matched tyres as well, and a riding course.

Then after that it becomes a case of how deep is your wallet when you go for, how much bling you want etc.

Good advice on the suspension BDG - whatever the bike you need to be able to go round corners. Just been quoted a 'couple of hours' (less than £100) to get mine set up for my weight and riding style. It would be rude not too......
