Can anyone help with this... Its the plastic (Alloy on older models) Nut that holds in the fuel level sensor up in to the Tank on a Monster. I've managed to split mine. Tried various avenues to try and get one. Dont really want to have to go buying the whole new unit just for a Nut. So if anyones got a Monster tank sitting around with the level sensor on id be happy to send some Shillings your way ![]() [Edited on 18-9-2005 by Mr C] |
Can't help with the right part, but that looks suspiciosly like an ordinary ptfe compression nut available in plenty from plumbing merchants. |

Tried that but the thread on mine is to tight |
I might be able to help. I have an older monster but recently had to buy a new unit myself as the fuel warning sensor wires had sheared off inside the insulation! I'll check the mounting nut spare when I'm next home (afraid its 15th December so a bit of a wait). If the older monster has a similar nut then I'll send it to you for free. If thats too long a wait let me know. |
