anyone recognise this part number 24711221d - should be magnesium valve cover
 

Hi,

does anyone recognise the part number 24711221d - it's described as a "magnesium head cover" but not sure what model bike this is designed for, possibly 749 / 999 ?

Anyone help ?

my list isn't showing which bike it's for but is saying "vertical head magnesium cover" cylinder....
The 'stretta head covers are the same so it could be the earlier bikes??

The 247...... part number isn't generally a DP number but a "normal" spare prefix. Possibly RS??

so do you think that they will fit 749 ? They don't seem to have the bolt hole to fasten down the plug cap / coil. Not sure if the Mag items on the 749 R / 999 R have the same bolt fstening as they standard bikes.

Out of interest, what do you think a pair of these would be worth ?
