Do you have an original to guage the thread from? Is it not something you could source non Ducati, if it's just a plastic nut I'd imagine you could source it elsewhere. Nelly might know?? |

Take the plastic nut to a plumbing supplier(or even ask a plumber) and ask them to match it.Ducati dont make these things themselves and its bound to be a common part. |
|
Ive tried plumbing suppliers and a fastning manufacturer. The threads are too fine for plumbing supplies and the fastning manufacturer didnt seem to arsed as it was 1 just nut i was after. |

http://www.m1salvageandbreakers.co.uk/index.htm give em a call - the website is out of date- not bad service or prices but only dealt with them a couple of times if you put "breakers" into the search button on this site you might find iconics944 (franks) list of bike breakers |

It's probably a Metric fine thread - try an engineers merchant rather than a Plumbers. |

Several riders on here by all accounts! |

i needed a nut for the accessory outlet on my ST4 I went to a fasteners shop who measured it and told me it was an M18 x .1 almost a hens teeth jobby, but a friend put me onto vehicle wiring products www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk and for £3 or something silly I bought a socket c/w nut. Might be worth a try |
