While we\'re talking quickshifters . . . . . . anybody using one of these shift levers (see attached pic)? Ideally would like a copy of the set-up instructions or whatever that came with it. Also need all the blurb that came with a Techtronics QSLU2 quickshift - installation, set-up, wiring schematic etc etc. Thanks guys, Neil. |
Neil, that looks like a copy of the official Corse unit. There is a procedure in my RS race manual, I believe. I'll check tonight. |
That's the latest JHP/Techtronics lever, same as I have on the 999 |
Thanks Felix, but I don't think it works in quite the same way as the Corse part. Corse part uses Hall Effect Sensor and the JHP part uses a simple switch so set up may not be the same - I could be wrong though! JPM, did any set-up instructions come with the lever? if so, any chance of a copy? Thanks again fellas, Neil. |
That is the Techtronics shifter. If you ring John Chalton on 01295 714144 he will send you what you need. A VAP (Very helpful chappy). |
My Q/S was fitted by JHP, so no instructions, but I don't think there's anything other than a simple on/off switch on the lever, the box does it all I think... |
Yeah that's what I thought, although I think the switch is adjustable for actuation pressure. Crunchy, thanks for the number. Unfortunately John no longer deals with Techtronics - if he could've helped he would've though. Cheers, Neil. |
You might be right there, I'd give JHP a call... it's their level after all (well Techtronics) I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help |
