ST2 - fuel starvation?

Hi anyone have a suggestion or three as to why my bike cutout after leaving some traffic lights last Saturday?

Was lucky to get it into a "local" bikeshop :o

They "said" the plugs both sparked but were DRY, ie no fuel getting to them. Yes there was fuel in the tank ;)

I can't sit down and settle, I want my bike back !!!

When was it last serviced & was the fuel filter changed.?
Is the fuel pump pressurising when you switch the bike on?
Check inside the tank, sometimes the fuel pipes have been known to either split or come off at the pump connections.

Rushjob you are a star......yes it was the fuel pipe but the 'mechanics' insisted it was the ECU.........luckily I just agreed to take it out of their hands.

I want to replace the ST4 sidestand for a longer one- should I be looking for one off a monster??? I don't like the self-retracting version it hurts & have the bruises to prove it. :(

You can easily lose the self retrating mechanism, either with a sidestand bolt off a later model, or the cheaper way, take out the sidestand bolt & cut off the extended head which the spring plates rest against when the stand is down... this converts your stand into a sensible non-retracting version.
As for stand length... dunno
