Another teachers anecdote!
 

A Teacher (not to be named)was reading the story of Chicken licken.
The story is full of repetition and each part she asked "and what do you think the turkey, the duck, the quail said"
She got to the part where Chicken licken tells the farmer that the sky is falling in...

"So children, put your hand up if you know what the farmer said"
Callum puts his hand up

"So Callum, can you tell me what the farmer said to Chicken Licken?"

"Yeah, ****IN HELL! THAT CHICKEN TALKS!

Never the less the teacher found it difficult to read the story after that;)
