748R airbox
 

Hello peeps,

I am after a bit of info on the 748R airbox.

Am I right in thinking that it comes in two parts. One that fits around the injectors and then the other part that fits to this. Looking like the normal part that is fitted to a 916 for example?

Do the air boxes come in carbon fiber only or are there plastic ones out there?

Only I am after a second hand standard 748R airbox as part of an ongoing project. I know that on the 748R the internal frame brace is lower than that of a 748s but I intend to get around that problem.:devil:

If there is anyone out there with a Plastic 748R airbox, I would be happy to take it away in exchange for a money. The airbox does not have to be immaculate, just in one piece.

Yes, it's two parts. Bottom one in plastic anf top part in carbon fibre on 2001 and 2002 and plastic on 2000 models.
