Sport Classics??

Well i have seen loads of photos and have seen them in the flesh, but i am still not a lover of the styling. YES some of the attention to details is top notch, but they still look odd to me. Am i too used to remembering what the originals were like. What will they look like after the aftermarket suppliers have got hold of them? Some i expect will be very special.
What about you do you love them or loave them? Are they just a prop for the trendy wanabees, who would like to think they are the owner of a classic bike!!!!
What do you think of the style? Do you feel the same as me?

I've not seen them for real yet. After seeing the first pictures I thought they were awful, but I think they are slowly growing on me. Will have to see, if the weather is good this weekend I might pop to the dealers and have a look at one. If not I see it down at the NEC.

Do you think ducati will have older (classic) ladies skantly clad on them at the NEC ? :)

I love the Sport in yellowy-orange. That is one sexy machine. I've only seen them in pictures, and I think thats all I could handle - unless I had £8000 in my pocket ;)

:D

I've seen them in photos and in person several times up close. The silver metalflake on the Paul Smart was overdone from the original and looks too much like tin foil.

The sport classics definitely have better performance in all respects (especially that DS engine!) BUT I still prefer an original over a copy - especially considering the prices.
