Can anybody tell me the correct way to fit the spacer into the sprocket carrier, dome into the wheel or away.

Should one of the wheel adjuster covers have two holes in,if so whats it for, which side does it go on?

the thin end of the taper goes against the inside of wheel bearing

Hmm, the spacers that I have seen have had the "dome" towards the swingarm:puzzled:

Also the end cap is from the right-hand side, and probably had holes drilled either to secure it to the swingarm, or for a pipe clip if there was an under-slung rear caliper...

Or something.

The dome (narrow end) should grip the inner bearing race. The wide face against the swingarm to spread the force to the ally.

The left hand swingarm cap has an edge michined off to clear the nuts on the sprocket carrier. The RHS (brake) has lips on both side.

Spacer goes with tha narrower tapered end inwards, some where on the site there is a picture that I put up of what damage can be done to the bearing and sprocket carrier if fitted the other way

Many Thanks,I would have a big box of bits in the garage if it wasnt for the help.Ive run the engine, since putting the bike back together, just to check the wiring etc.Going to be nervous to give it any pain after the exploding engine stories.
