Racing Crank case breather
 

How does this work then? and where does it bolt onto and sit?
I suspect in the fairing lowers?

It sits under the rear subframe...

under the seat
you will need a SP sub frame

how much does it increase the BHP by?
Oh and is it road legal?

not a great deal if any
but yes it is road legal

Just to illustrate how well this works, i.e. the extension of the crank case, when the engine is idling you can see the crank "pulses" by the breather box visibly expanding and contracting, like it#s got a heart beat.
