Where to stay.
 

Me and a few mates are intending next year on doing the Napolean Route and the French Alps. We are looking for a base to stay so we can go out each day and find these blinding roads Ive been hearing so much about.

Does anyone know of any suitable accommodation for 3 to 5 decent lads and there Dukes for about 7 days. With possibly secure parking for the bikes. We are looking at going August 2006.

Pick any Logis.de.france in the centre of the area that you are going into that has a covered garage. They might charge a few euros for an individual lock up, but you'd get all the bikes in, or they'll have a gated area somewhere. Works fo us all over France. Great food too.
