748/916/996 showa forks for sale.

Hi guys. Am selling a very tidy pair of showa forks for the 916 shape bikes. The sliders are immaculate with zero pitting. Seals are good and there are very few blemish maks on the outer tubes. Only selling as ive upgraded my front end to ohlins so would hate to see them sitting unused. Looking for £250 posted.
Plenty of pics available on request.

Yes I Know but that's an ST4 not a 916 or as the advert says 916 Shaped bikes

As far as I know ST4 forks are the Same as ST2, Monster S4, Monster S4R, Monster S2R 1000 and some Monster 1000s
ST3 forks are the same fitment but only have preload adjustment and no damping adjustment

Thanks for jumping in there skidlidz. Been away for a few days so apologize for late response. These are indeed 53mm/53mm superbike forks.

I did have a guy pop around on Saturday with a 750SSie where he has bored out the top yoke and shimmed the lower yoke and then fitted a set of later 748/996 forks

adamski are they the earlier forks with 40mm caliper mounts or the later ones with 65mm caliper mounts

adamski 25-Oct-2013 21:51

They are 65 mm mounts mate. If its any help to anyone I also have a set of lower yokes for these that are from a fixed headstock frame. Sure ive seen someone use these yokes to put superbike forks on other models somewhere. The stem is a fair bit longer on these than the adjustable head ones.
