R & G Crash protectors

Just finished fitting r&g crash protector and spindle sliders to front and rear wheels. Was a bit concerned about drilling a 25mm hole in my fairings but it turned out ok. They look ok as well.
This is what you get for visiting the bike show !!!!

Just got it back today after it's 6000 mile sevice not bad as it is only 5 months old and I don't use it for work
Gave it t6he S100 anti corrosion spray goimg over after fitting the protectors, can't be to carefull now the gritters are out!!!!

If you do not want to drill your fairing then nelly at Cornerspeed is doing these Speedy Moto crash bungs, they come in two parts, standard type crash bungs for your track day fairing, ie through the fairing & then take them off, put on the mushroom head & put your road fairing over them, they will not protect your road fairing but will protect your bike if you go down the road, ie clutch housing water pump etc, & no drilling your road fairing.

Drilling the fairing is pretty scary, but they do look quite tidy once fitted. Is it gonna be a pain to remove your fairing if you want to clean the bike or do some work?

I like the fork and swingarm protectors though...nice. :D

Mark,

I have the front and rear spindle bungs fitted 100% of the time.

I have the fairing crash bungs, but, did not drill my road carbon fairing for the bungs. I leave the large ally bracket in place and only fit the bungs when I put my track day fairing on.

All R&G kit and really rate them. Sure HW will be along soon to agree :D
