braided lines for Brakes

Hi there i just purchessed some goodridge lines for my front brakes i had to wait for the reducers for the calipers but im a little confussed to see if i got the right set up its completly different to the standard setup ie

the two lines come from the lever and go each to both cylinders rather than be split half way down the first line also the reducers seem to be to big ????????

can some one get some pics of there lines if they have them to see whats going on with mine im sure there right but id rather check before i have something bad happen

cheers

Paul you need a double banjo bolt to attach the lines to the master cyclinder. I'm still not sure by what you mean by "reducers" There should be just there circular rings at each end to enable the banjo bolt to go through?

im confussed with why have more copper washers than i need in the picture i think i have it how it should go 1 being the caliper and 2 the master cylinder

lines

Looks like youve got it about right but it makes it kind of confusing havin to screw the banjos into the lines, they normally are swaged onto the lines them selves

i may take it to my local and see what they will say as it is my brakes kinda need them to work really :frog::frog:

They are universal goodridge lines. No problems though.
Screw the adaptors into the calipers using one copper washer.
You'll need 3 washers at the master cylinder.
Run the lines to the calipers and nip up the lines to the adaptors.
You've just been sent extra washers. Put 'em on the shelf and save for later :)
