998 cooling system
 

anyone know of coolant tanks leaking on 998's, cooloant system issues in general

Hi, Not an uncommon problem, the white header tank can spring a leak and spray coolant out when it gets hot an the system gets to pressure, if its not under warranty then they cost £19 ish.

pretty easy to change.

mines leaking on my 748...its near the top just were it starts to bend down if that makes sense..tested mine by blocking of the holes and putting a airline on it with a small amount of coolant left in it and it showed a small hole and a slight fracture which i couldnt see at first...

dealer vor`d one for me on monday and it still aint here yet:flame:
