Cold hands, I\'m off shopping but...

can't make up my mind whether to get heated grips or a decent pair of gloves. i've had a gander at the HotGrips thread but having used some years ago I'm not sure they're really any good!

So what's the preference? Grips or gloves?
And what do we know to be a really toasty warm and waterproof pair of sub-zero gloves??

Hein Gericke pathan gloves (the odd looking 2 fingered claw type gloves) with some thin silk inner gloves work well for me.

They're cheap at less than £40 as well.

Heated grips for me. Used them for 9 years despatch.

Yeah, I'd go along with that combination...the Pathans feel a little bit odd when you first put them on after conventional five-fingered gloves, but its amazing how quickly you adapt

I've been looking at those things with much curiosity!
It does make sense tho.
Ta for the thoughts

Oxford Hot-Hands heated over-grips ;)

NBs996 22-Nov-2005 22:35

I'm split between the lobster claw gloves and the heated overgrips...

unless there's any recommendations for 'normal' type gloves that are warm enough for a big sissy like me??

Sorry Nick but in my experience, you just need to rely on the fact that you have a warm heart because NOTHING is actually going to keep your hands warm in this weather
