Paioli Rear Shock? Anyone any knowledge or experience of Paioli rear shocks. Thinking of one for the 748. Advice welcome! |
Saw this one too, never heard of them either. Sorry not very helpfull am I!:rolleye: |
Now now don't do yourself down! Heard of them, they did stuff for the recent Laverdas (eight years ago!) I've heard they're part of marzocchi but don't know if they're any good. U2U me if you start bidding and I won't up the ante! |
Got a whole brochure on Paioli suspension somewhere, they do some decent stuff. There was a bloke (John I think, based around the Brackley area)) that quite often shared a stand at race shows with Derek Chittenden of Hejiera (something like that) Racing that sold the stuff If you have the model of shock I may be able to find out more about it. |
Not sure. It's an e bay job. Anodised red (not sure about that) and carbon body and res. Looks good..........................but so did my first wife when I met her |
Just seen it on ebay, looks just like the shocks they fitted to the Laverdas except it has a piggy back reservoir where as the Laverdas were attached by braided hose. Its even got its own rideheight adjuster, not exactly necessary on a 916 but then again the Penske on my 916 has one |
Guy, it's yours mate, I've run out of cash this year : ) Need to put the bike back together 1st. Quote:

Tell me about it, but hey she's a money magnet and it's nearly CHRISTMAS! |
Thanks for the advice gang |
Certainly has enough travel on the damper rod, unlike some aftermarket shocks I have seen as this often indicates they have been modified from other bikes rather than designed for the job in hand which in this case would be suspending the rear of a Ducati |
