Special rear brake bracket ...

Here's a self machined bracket for sale ...

It's made with aluminium and is polished. It's currently in perfect condition !!!

This one has never been referenced in the Racing parts catalogues !!!

I made it for a friend of mine who raced a T.8 with :
- a threading for the anti-dribbling bar,
- Marchesini wheels (large size rear spindle),
- a small Racing rear brake disk (190 mm),
- but pinched with an original gold Brembo caliper ...

This bracket is very helpful for pilots who appreciate a powerful rear brake ...
However, 100% useless with another rear disk diameter !!!

U2U for further informations ...

I have probably stupid question. What is the advantage of the underslung rear caliper?

It's a question of mathematics and physical sciences.

The main reason is to avoid the inertness of a mass over the horizontal straight line (between front and rear wheels axle) ... which is supposed to amplify the hopping movment.
Reason why there's a link bar between the crankcase and the caliper bracket !!!

But I'm 100% convinced that we're not able to feel the consequences on open roads when we ride.
Thus, I confess the most part of us who make modifications on bike is dictated by the design and the look, only !!!
