955 kit for 916SP

I'm in the process of fitting a 955 kit (omega pistons) up to my 916SP motor, and was just wondering if any of you have done this and what I should expect in terms of power torque improvements ?
I've had the crank and pistons balanced as the weight difference was very noticeable and am also thinking of going with big valve gas flowed heads 37 & 31 vs 34 & 30 + 54mm throttle bodies to replace the std 50's.
Any experiences with the big valve/gas flow/throttle body increase ??
Also if you did go down the bigger throttle body route who did you source em from...
cheers

Neil

I've been told my 955 puts out 150bhp, its a Corse engine with just about everything done to it. running 54mm Exhaust and 54mm twin injectors. I have just fitted a starter system to it and hope to have the engine into the rolling chassis over the Xmas break and should be ready for a DSC trackday next year.

Is your the SP3 with the already bored crankcase mouths or have you had them machined.

crankcase mouths are already machined, I guess that what I'm looking for now is a source for the 54mm throttle bodies - is there anybody in the UK that remans them to 54mm or is it a case of buying new ??
I'll probably end up going to Jeff Green for my head work.
cheers

As I mentioned mine are twin injector throttle bodies that came with the engine courtesy of Steve Caffyn owner of CSC Racing.
I asked John Hackett about fitting the 54mm shower injectors off my 748RS (also found on a 748R I believe) but he suggested I would be better off sticking with the twin injector setup, maybe because he had already set the the whole package up and done a chip for it
