Upgrading my 748's brakes to 4 pad calipers this winter.

Which pads would you recommend.

Bendix MF compound :)

Nelly, the Bendix jobbies are they ok for road use? and how much for front and backs?

nelly 04-Dec-2005 22:24

The MF are excellent for road use and trackday use unless you're really on it.
Fronts are £18.95 a caliper, for the single and twin pin calipers. the 4 pads are more. The rears are about £14 I think but at the moment there are only "standard" compound available. The importers were going to bring in some supersport compound which should help a little with the 5hit rear brake on the 748-998. Haven't heard anything on them yet.

I have Carbone Lorraine SBK3 on my 4 pad calipers - good feel etc and better than the Bendix that the calipers arrived with.
