I had a VTR back in Aus ... the tank range was shocking but otherwise a nice bike. Although I never got on with the suspension ...

Yep, I very nearly bought it but a catalogue of errors prevented it.
Must have been fate.

I really didn't want to buy anything other than a Ducati but I tried out the SP just because I was offered a free test ride and I had nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Within 5 minutes on it I knew I was going to buy it.
Sorry to say it but its the best bike I've ever ridden - and I've ridden most (except a 999).

I'll have another Ducati one day.
