hot bottom does anyone find that when u ride a 749, your behind gets very warm? what do people do about that? and what do they do about it in the summer when its very hot outside? merry xmas everyone megalite |
do you ride in leathers ? |
If you have the standard pipes it is probably the cat as they run a high temp. Fitting a race pipe should help. I'm waiting for my term's to arrive and currently have the same issue G |
Only really notice it in slow/stopped traffic... |
aha i see. yeah i was wearing ducati dainese speed pants and was getting kinda sweaty. yeah termis are a must either way! such a huge difference with them! (in noise) |
Only have a problem below 150! butch |
In this temperature the in built heating is a welcome addition in the frozen north!! |
Get the odd blast of hot air when sat at traffic lights or similar on a summers day. Soon as I'm moving it's all back to normal. I do have a race can fitted and I'm sure it helps reduce the heat build up. |
I've got a 57 system on the 999 and it heats up just as bad as the stock system did if you get stuck in traffic :( I usually resort to standing on one peg with me ar?e in the air at traffic lights in summer, it looks a bit weird but works. Avoid towns and traffic is the best solution :D |
haha, nice, i guess that is a good idea to stand up... a bit difficult to avoid london though and traffic in it... oh well |
