Travel Tips Please - Amsterdam I'm heading off to Amsterdam in a few weeks with a mate for the weekend and I've just been checking out flights. I can get a returnn ticket that suits my times etc with EasyJet for £80 (incl taxes etc). Is that a pretty good deal? Any other options I can look at? I want to leave on Friday the 20th and return Monday the 23rd. |
My son flies with thomson fly from Coventry for about £40 when he goes to visit his gf. He usually books ahead by a few weeks so £80 sounds about right for short notice really. |
Friday out and Sunday/Monday returns are also the busiest, so that's not a bad price at all. |
Got it down to £69 each. I'll take it :) |
Off there on 3rd and 4th but working I'm afraid. WeeJohnyB |

Just have a good safety check over your higher bikes. I take it you will be riding round to fit plenty in. £69 for the fight A That's a good number that in-it. You'll be seeing that number a lot this year :ninja: I read elsewhere your off to practice riding in the sun very nice. |

... and are often not girls either. If you can avoid the inebriated gangs of British stags then Amsterdam is a very cool place to be. Cafe Baba on Warmoesstraat is my favourite. Just try not to get run over by a swarm of bicycles. |

Hey, what happens in Amsterdam stays in Amsterdam :D It's quite a good game doing a tour of the (ever decreasing) red light district playing 'Spot the Bloke'. Oh, and don't take photographs... unless you want to get beaten up by transvestite prostitutes - and not in a good way. |
