honours!!! I see all the usual celeb faces got honoured this year along with anyone remotely interested in cricket. BUT is there anyone remotely connected with motorcycles gifted with a gong this year?? |
Who would you suggest? Carl Fogarty for team leadership:sing: |
who, who is british and hasnt already got some gong, from the world of motor sport has done something that deserves recognition. Like it or loathe it (its the former for me) the only sport that got the nation interetested in 2005 as far as I remenber was the cricket against the old enemy, twenty twenty, One dayers and tests were all sold out and made compulsive viewing. Was the Rugby union squad not treated the same after their prestigious World Cup victory ? I wish there was a british SB, WSB or MotoGP champion who HM could give a gong to, maybe Liam Haslam or Michael Rutter might have the necessary or even James Toseland 2006. |
I thought Liverpool should have received something for the Champions League vistory - Gerrard at least. Tim |
never understood the gong system, its their job, they get paid vast sums of money and thats still not enough, they get even more praise heaped upon them with some out of date ceromony. :puzzled::puzzled::puzzled: |
