Fork rings
 

Forgot to have a look before I dropped them:mad:

How many rings do I have showing at the top of my yoke on standard setup on a 996. And where is that showing, from the inside or outside?

To answer your question...I'm not sure exactly!

...but, I think it will be somewhere in the region of 3 rings when viewed from the inside, which equates to about 4 on the outside.

A little tip, but when I reinstalled my Ohlins, if I held them upto the light, I could make out a very faint line where they had sat before! May be worth a quick look on yours?

Suprisingly well actually!

Started her up for the first time the other day, and she went first prod of the button....no leaks etc...I have to say I was most suprised!:lol:

I'm about 85% of the way there, just a few small jobs to do, and bits to buy, but now that the worst is over, I'm just taking my time and making sure I'm happy with everything.

4...sharpen the steering and give it that WSB look!
