sprocket removal - 748 am i correct in thinking the sprocket (rear) can be removed with the wheel still on and that therefore it doesnt need raising on a stand? i have acquired a renthal carrier and new final drive kit and want to do the swap seems to me i just leave the bike upright and remove the spocket side nut, circlips, hub cover and spocket and then replace? i am aware the nut will be tight - what size is it please? many thanks |
A) yes b) yes c) 41mm...it will be tight! I find that by poping around the corner to my local tyre fitting place with my correct sized socket, and asking then just to loosen it with their windy-gun helps in this regard! Then just nip it back up for the short ride home. |
cheers again harv - i must try harder and try find a question you cannot answer lol! if we ever do meet i certainly will stand you a beer or two! |
