Such a rubbish trip from Oxford to the Ace even in daylight and even worse on the way home in the dark

ah....but.......throw in the old A40 route up chickenshit pass & a bit of zoopery round wheatley on the way out of oxford and i'd still get the footpegs down ten times on a journey to london & back.*
