Checking fuel filter??

Hi Guys,

I'm feeling a bit dim today.

Can anyone tell me how to check if your fuel filter (998) is blocked.

I have the fuel filter off, but it just appears to be a silver cylinder with an in and an out end. How do you know if it's flowing OK.

Apologies if this is a klutzy question, it's been a hard week.

Hello spinoli1

As Keefer says its best to replace there not cheap, don't forget to replace the green rubber seal for the tank also, I think there about £8.

Yep, if youve got that far you may as well change it. Then for a bit of fun hacksaw the old one open and see whats inside!
