How do i tell How do I tell what model Showa shock is fitted to my 600ss, the manual says that there should be a Sachs-Boge shocker fitted but its defo got a Showa fitted and i can't see any numbers or identification on it at all. Murray Mint |
Sounds like a boge to me  Geddit?? Oh nevermind!! ;) |
Murray,if its got a showa then the bike could be one of the ultra rare highly desireable rs fo96 corse models, reputedly on 2 ever made, ones in the museum and the others whereabouts are unknown! Should be worth trillions to a collector Otherwise its an old ss that someones stuck a showa in! Butch |
Murray, many of the 600's didnt have the parts they should have - particularly a 'Friday' bike. Showa ones are better than the others tho, such as the Marzocci - and could well have been fitted later by a previous owner. |

Easy, if it has blue knob on it, or looks like the attached, then it's a boge. The Showa unit is all silver with a yellow spring. Ali |
No Blue knob on mine, there is one dressed in black leathers sitting on it though.:D:D Thanks guys. Murray |
