Does anyone know about release dates of the desmosedici
 

does anyone know any details of the desmosedici, is anyone taking deposits on them, anyone any ideas on the expected price, and does anyone have any photos.

I know 999r owners were sent a preferential letter from Ducati to be first in the queue..........Ill sell you my letter for say £2000?

I heard that price was EUR50,000 and I believe dealers are already taking deposits...(Although, maybe only from 999r owners as yet)

I don't know if deposits have been taken, I know some have shown an interest, but I think that maybe dependent on spec/release dates etc?

Maybe a few people on here could clarify this ;)

Asked John Hackett about this on saturday. He didnt think that the bike would be ready before 2007 (a shame bearing in mind ducati committed to launch it at WDW which is now cancelled). He did say that the road engine was knocking out well in excess of 200hp and would have to be detuned...:o:o
