900ss

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what a 900SS Year: 97 with 10000 miles and FSH would normally sell for (assuming it is an immaculate bike)?

Franco

Thanks

I think 'parkers' now have an on line bike guide ?

Doh! Didn't think to look there. The one I have seen for sale is an old shape but still a 97. Must have been registered late. The one in your link above is definitely cheaper than the one I have seen for sale. :puzzled: Strange.

Ok and thanks for your help chaps

A really late carb model (old shape) is often worth more than an early injection model. The last of the carb models had all the good bits on (stainless hoses, underslung back brake, carb heaters, etc) and most people prefer the shape. Add a single seat and high lift pipes and you're in SL land which is all good! :D

If the bike you're looking at is in the uk then it should be worth about £2k - £2.4k depending on when it was last serviced. If it's over £3k then walk away (that's 748/916 territory).

Cheers,

Ali

Thanks Ali. The only other prob with this one is that there are no original pipes included which is a shame. Migt use that to shave off some of the asking price

Cheers:-)
