Batteries? As I've mislaid the rules for 2006, can anyone please remind me what they say regarding batteries in Class A? Oh, and airboxes? And why does it think its the 4th when the pub has only just shut? Ta, Paul [Edited on 4-2-2006 by paynep] [Edited on 4-2-2006 by paynep] |
Paul, batteries ARE allowed as are airboxes (subject to a vote!) All batteries must have a minimum weight of 25 kilos in 583 ,and in 620,s they must be carried and securely strapped down on the trailer. The only exeptions to these rules are where the rider is over 50 years of age, they can run with no battery and are also eligable for treble points at any rounds run on a weekend! Butch |
Surely if the rider is over 50 then he/she will need a lot of batteries to keep him/her going? :puzzled: |

By the way is there anyone over 50 in the series? Butch |

All that, and no free parker pen? You've been had Butch! Oh yeah, did you get the bus pass sorted for transport between rounds? |
Paul - battery must be any OE applicable to that model, according to the rules.......... Airbox: this is free....... you can use an airfilter if you wish To me, this means you can even remove the whole airbox if you like Alan |
