Today I rode .....................

Howdy doody folks, haven`t posted for a while with the T8 being up forsale and all,but I`d thought I`d have a post as I`m in on my todd:D:(:puzzled:
Took the T8 out to my local dealer today as he said he would give me a hand selling it with some extra exposure.Haven`t rode it since september, went to it and it started first touch(Try that with your new gell batteries)forgot how much those old 4 valvers like to rev:D.

While at the dealers I took a new sport classic out (10miles on it and they give it to me :o ) really like the way it steered ,and you could turn it around in the road in one go!
The old 2 valvers do make a great road engine with all that bottom end punch, reminded me of my old SS`s and Multistrada, speaking of Multistradas,Tantrums was in having it`s new crankcases and some more Narfuk bling!
Wouldn`t buy a sport classic myself and I don`t know who would to be honest,to slow for the young`uns of today and to uncomfortable for the old`uns aswell.
The dealer has had it on demo for a month and I was the first to take it out,go figure eh?

Eh Yes,fraid so Ian,as par Keefy B,no new heads tho like the big fella.Simons was one of the first ones,ex demo.

Has to be said, I haven't seen a single classic on the roads yet. A case of lots of enthusiasm but not a lot of wallet-opening going on. Shame really as I think they just caught the tail end of a boom period.

I'm sure they'll sell a few yet. :)

Dunno about engine numbers,it`s all legit so can`t see a problem.
Don`t know excactly where the engine number is on the engine.

by all accounts about 10 miles is about the limit before you need to visit the chiropractor :o

Nigel, chiropractors I`ve spent some money with them over the last 6 months! like I say to uncomfortable for us old `uns and to slow for the kids of today, for same money the youth of today can get a sooper doooper yamasakida!

Not just 'we will get 'em painted' ????

Best take this one to U2U dude, if you have some more info, or TT has ?
Mine were too bad to paint,so my Multi had new crankcases and new front cylinder head.No numbers on the new cases at all.
