The simple pleasures....... Mate of mine owns a MZ ETZ125 as a commuter bike.Recently it 'seized up' on him on the way home.Muggins here volunteered his services to repair said beast.Man,I had forgot what a pleasure it was to work on an old nail such as this.I swear the whole bike can be dismantled with a 13mm spanner and a big hammer!:DTry doing that on your 996R! |
Top end came off in about 5 mins,...and this is what I found. The little bit are the piston ring and what is left of the little end bearing.:o |
Not much left of the piston skirt either! Most of it was left in the transfer ports!:o:lol: |
Probably cost about a tenner to fix as well! |
Yep,thats about right. There is a complete engine on fleabay at the mo for £20.:D |
Do ya do washing machines Mr  Similar tools required no doubt:lol: . 4D |
