The simple pleasures.......
 
Mate of mine owns a MZ ETZ125 as a commuter bike.Recently it 'seized up' on him on the way home.Muggins here volunteered his services to repair said beast.Man,I had forgot what a pleasure it was to work on an old nail such as this.I swear the whole bike can be dismantled with a 13mm spanner and a big hammer!:DTry doing that on your 996R!

Top end came off in about 5 mins,...and this is what I found.The little bit are the piston ring and what is left of the little end bearing.:o

Not much left of the piston skirt either!Most of it was left in the transfer ports!:o:lol:

Probably cost about a tenner to fix as well!

Yep,thats about right.
There is a complete engine on fleabay at the mo for £20.:D
