c spanners

i need a tool for the following and not just for the ducati (save the first)

chain adjustment at the hub for a 748
steering head adjustment
rear shock adjustment

looks like a (set of?) c spanners needed?

anyone recommend sizes and a source to buy one or some?
they appear to come hinged and in sizes too

thanks
nick

I assume you dont have a toolkit with your 748?
In which case just get one from a ducati dealer, they are only £12-£13 and include the c-spanner for the chain adjuster.
Never adjusted my steering head as it made it too frisky on the road.

i do have a toolkit but want something more substantial and if c spanners will do all the above its worth buying a set depending upon cost

I don't think many peole have dedicated sets of C-spanner for their bike mate to be honest.

The chain one is in the tool kit as mentioned and works just fine.

And as for the ones needed for the suspension or the steering head...I use an adjustable one bought from M&P for about a tenner.

Once you have the suspension sorted then thats pretty much left alone...and ditto with the steering head angle.

Not worth splashing out loads of cash on in my book.
