Brembo radial master Cyl\' - what size for road use ?

Hi,

As the title says .... what size Brembo radial master cylinder would you go for or already have fitted ?

19 x 18

0r

19 x 20

Have seen a few bikes with 19x20 fitted, but, also heard some one say that it's too much like a "trigger" and that 19x18 would be better suited to road use.

Anyone know what the standard size is on 749 / 999 ?

well almost........................ the stock lever on the 999/749 etc is 18mm bore and x19 ratio.
The "race" radial is 19mm bore so will shift a little more fluid. A x18 will probably feel about the same as you have now. The x20 will decrease the lever travel a little more than you have now.
Both will offer a small increase in "braking power" but nothing like the improvements on the 748/998 range as they only used a 16mm master cylinder :)

Now get ya coat ;)

19X18 on the 888 and works reallly well..best compromise (ive ridden with the 19x20 and it lacks 'feel' compared to the 18..
