It runs!......but

Hi y'all,

I think Spain was just far enough away to miss last weeks fun on the 'board
Also I never knew that Jerez was Spanish for sherry, but hey....

Anyhow, back in the garage I finished off the wiring on the 620SS and voila, it runs.
Only thing is once it gets warm the idle is up at 2000rpm, even with the stop wound right back. I've sprayed WD40 around the manifolds and injectors but can't find any leaks. Everything is pretty much as it came off the monster, apart from being kicked around in a big box for a couple of months....any ideas or will I have to wait until I can get it to a Mathesis tester??

air bleed valves on the side of the throttle body Paul? (brass screw at the back end of the throttle body) might have moved?

or try the throttle position sensor, make sure its not loose.

Obviously you'll have checked the fast idle mech isnt jammed on too?

Something to pass away the next 2 mins for you mate.

Or have you already checked these out?

Alan
